I Commit to You
December 12, 2003
Dear Lord,
I am sitting in class right now,
and I can’t resist writing to You. You saw me
at 10:04 a.m., during those 3 minutes, as I walked into the restroom,
dialed the number to Stanford, talked to the director,
told him my name, birth date, and email. Up there I know you are
proud, Lord. I am more than humbled by this experience to know that my
life is Yours. All of it! No doubts!
No worries! But I am excited about the peace that I will find in
You. How can someone deny
Your presence, Lord? You named me a blessing, and throughout my
life ‘till now, you have truly taught me the meaning of my own name by
showering blessings upon me, Lord. I cannot hold it in, but I want to cry
out to You. Now that I know what
blessing means, I want to live as a blessing to others. Use me in any
way You want, Lord. I want to be your
daughter, servant, or anything You want of me.
This paper is my commitment to share about Your
love to everyone I meet, all of my days on Earth. I trust in
You. Age to age, You’re
still the same…El Shaddai*.

bao nhiêu, thì trách nhiệm mà Ngài mong muốn nơi bạn càng lớn bấy nhiêu.”
